1. I personally would not say that i was an easy shot, as there was many different aspects to the shoting and many different locations. the first main difficulty that they came across is that on their first day of shooting they could not use the boat because of the weather so had to use a different set. Also shooting a film on boat cant be easy as it is constantly moving. getting the lighting right and making sure the background followed the theme of the 60's and didnt look like a modern boat. They also had to make sure that the interior follwed the theme of the 60's down to everything like the hairstyle and clothing.

3. The whole of the external scene for thr radio rock was shot on a boat called MV Timor Challenger. this boat was actually docked in a portland near Dorset. there was also a set made up for the internal shots so that when the weather was bad they shot the scenes in a a studio in Shepperton, Surrey. however, as they needed the rocking motion they used a hydrolic system to recreate it. None of the film was shot in the north sea where the film was set.
4. the casting process toke them a couple of months, but for some parts they allready knew who they wanted. one of the actors that they wanted was allready filming. however, as he wanted to be a part of the film they changed the filming dates.
